The most famous of the forts built by Mewar Rajput ruler and statesman Rana Kumbha (reigned 1433 to 1468 CE), Kumbhalgarh Fort is nestled in the rugged Aravalli Hills. S amudragupta  was greatest ruler of the Gupta dynasty. He was son and successor of Chadragupta I . He succeeded to the throne in c. 335 AD. He ruled till 375 AD.
