In 2024 Vinod Bhayana has won the Hansi seat for the third time. while he had won the seat in 2009, 2019 and 2024.    

Hansi has been thrice represented by Amir Chand Makkar who won the seat in 1982, 1991 and 2005. While his first win from this assembly constituency came as a nominee of Lok Dal (LKD), the earlier avatar of the INLD, he emerged victorious in 1991 as an Independent candidate. He won the seat in 2005 as a candidate of the Congress. Amir Chand later deserted the Congress and joined the erstwhile Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC).

Hansi is one of the nine assembly segments of the Hisar parliamentary constituency.

Located in the Jhajjar district of Haryana, Bahadurgarh assembly constituency is currently being represented by Rajesh Joon, who had defeated BJP's Dinesh Kaushik in 2024 general assembly elections to the state. The Congress candidate and incumbent MLA Rajinder Singh Joon came third. 

Rajinder Singh Joon had emerged victorious from the Bahadurgarh assembly seat in 2005, 2009 and 2019. State President of Indian National Lok Dal of Haryana, Nafe Singh Rathee who was killed earlier in 2024 had won the Bahadurgarh assembly seat twice.

In 1991 Bahadurgarh assembly constituency had elected Suraj Mal, father of Rajinder Singh Joon.
